Set Photos Of Marvel’s ‘Wonder Man’ Reveal Possible Connection To ‘WandaVision’

Production of Marvel’s ‘Wonder Man’ series has resumed, with leaked photos hinting at ties to ‘WandaVision.’

After a long delay, Marvel’s Disney+ series ‘Wonder Man’ is back in action with filming underway in LA. Recent photos from the set suggest a link to the story of ‘WandaVision.’

Fans recently shared several photos and videos from ‘Wonder Man’s set. Some of them sparked speculation about a connection to ‘WandaVision’ due to the display resembling the Hex surrounding Westview in the earlier series. One of the fans wrote:

“I thought they canceled Wonder Man, but they are filming outside my job. Wanda Maximoff, you are getting a new man.”

Marvel Studios has not confirmed this potential link, but it’s possible considering the company’s history of interweaving storylines across different projects.

Leaked Set Photos Also Reveal ‘Wonder Man’s Logo and Emblem

Along with this rumored connection, the leaked photos reveal the official logo for ‘Wonder Man’ and a superhero emblem — a glowing red ‘W.’ According to a fan, there is also a mock-up of a red-carpet premiere event, where you can see the possible logo of the show:

“They are filming a premiere scene for ‘Wonder Man’ in Westwood.”

Details About ‘Wonder Man’s Release

‘Wonder Man’s return to production comes as a surprise, following reports last year suggesting that the project had been shelved indefinitely.

The initial shutdown was a result of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) and Writers Guild of America (WGA) strikes. Despite these setbacks, the creative force behind ‘Wonder Man,’ including director Destin Daniel Cretton, steered the project back into the limelight.

Following the debut of ‘Echo,’ ‘Wonder Man’ also focuses on narratives that do not intertwine as closely with the main MCU plotlines. The series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, the titular ‘Wonder Man,’ alongside a cast including Demetrius Grosse, Sir Ben Kingsley, and potential appearances by Ed Harris, Bob Odenkirk, and Courtney Cox.

Kingsley reprises his role as Trevor Slattery, bridging his performances from ‘Iron Man 3’ and ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.’

Details about the series’ release remain scarce. While there is no official premiere date, the resumed production and substantial progress suggest that an announcement might be imminent. Given the extensive post-production work typical of MCU projects, early 2025 is a potential timeframe for the series’ debut on Disney+.
