Diamond White Wants Marvel To Pick Her For The ‘Moon Girl’ Part In Potential Movie

Disney’s Moon Girl show focuses on a child hero with a high IQ and a pet T-Rex with whom she can swap bodies.

With the second season of ‘Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur’ around the corner, Diamond White has shared her interest in playing Lunella Lafayette in a possible MCU film. The 25-year-old actress, who lends her voice to the 13-year-old protagonist in the Disney series, mentioned in an interview with The Direct which actress she wanted to see portray Moon Girl in live-action format:

“I mean, I hope it’s me. That would be cool. I mean, I would have to grow my hair out a little bit. But, um, I hope it’s me. I mean, I know I’m a little bit older, but hey, we can [make it work].”

White is also open to playing different roles in the Marvel universe:

“Honestly, I’d be grateful for any of them. Because, like, I started off acting as a way to kind of, you know, help my family and things. And I’m just grateful for whatever I’m blessed with. I’m not a picky person. I’m just excited to be seen. That’s all.”

The Actress Wants To Join Marvel’s Heros

So far, the MCU has not introduced the character of Moon Girl, but the animated show has included some of the cinematic characters. For example, Maria Hill, played by Cobie Smulders, appeared in the first season of ‘Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur.’

Laurence Fishburne, who took part in ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ and ‘What If…?’, also joined the series, voicing both Bill Foster and The Beyonder. During her recent interview, White mentioned wanting to work with more bigger names of Marvel in the future:

“I want to see Spider-Man. I’m a big Spider-Man fan. Big Miles Morales fan as well. I would love to see that collab happen.”

The Disney show will premiere its second season on February 2.
