In a recent social media post, Rosario Dawson, known for her role as Claire Temple in Netflix’s ‘Daredevil,’ hinted at her eagerness to reprise her role, which she described as ‘an unfinished business.’
Responding to a fan who asked whether she would like to return to her role as Claire in the future, the actress said:

Dawson Said It’s Uncertain If She’ll Appear in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’
Dawson’s role as Claire Temple, a nurse who becomes an ally to Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, spanned across two seasons of ‘Daredevil’ and extended to other Marvel/Netflix collaborations, except for ‘The Punisher.’ However, Dawson’s involvement in the upcoming Disney+ series, ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ remains uncertain.
In July 2023, Dawson addressed questions about her potential return, noting her openness:
“People keep asking me if I’m gonna be on ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ And I’m always like, ‘Well, [Disney] knows where I am.”
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ welcomes back familiar faces from the original Netflix series. Confirmed to return are Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, among others. The series also introduces new characters while expanding the Daredevil universe within the MCU’s Phase Five.
Production details reveal that ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ aims to continue its Netflix predecessor while exploring new storylines, including Kingpin’s political ambitions. The series, currently under production and set for a 2025 release, features Dario Scardapane as the showrunner, taking over after a creative overhaul caused by a mid-production pause in 2023.
