Ti West Teases Future Plans For Mia Goth’s Troubled Killer After ‘MaXXXine’

West might make another movie after ‘MaXXXine,’ if people like this one.

In a recent interview with the YouTube channel What’s Under the Bed, director Ti West hinted at the possibility of extending the narrative beyond the initially planned trilogy centered around Mia Goth’s character, Maxine.

Despite the post-production phase of ‘MaXXXine’ nearing completion, West suggested a potential fourth installment. During the conversation with ‘What’s Under the Bed,’ he shared insights into the post-production process and teased the existence of a ‘weird idea’ for continuing Maxine’s story:

“There is this one weird idea that I have that is kind of… if I explained it, it would make sense. But we’ll see what happens. Let’s get this movie done first, and see if people like it. Then we’ll go from there.”

You can watch the interview below.

‘MaXXXine’ Will Be Released Next Year

Set for release in 2024, ‘MaXXXine‘ promises to continue Maxine’s story as she seeks fame in Los Angeles. This film follows the critical acclaim of its predecessors, ‘X’ and ‘Pearl,’ with a cast featuring Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Halsey, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.

In parallel to her work on ‘MaXXXine’, Mia Goth faced a lawsuit last month due to an on-set incident. James Hunter, a background actor, alleged that Goth kicked him in the head during filming, causing physical and emotional harm. The lawsuit seeks $250,000 for damages, including medical expenses.

Goth’s career continues with roles in projects like Marvel Studios’ ‘Blade’ and Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein.’
