Finn Jones Opens Doors For Iron Fist’s Return To MCU

A recent Instagram post by Jones has sparked rumors of Iron Fist’s comeback to the Marvel universe.

Finn Jones is possibly dropping hints on Instagram that Iron Fist might return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Jones recently posted a photo on his Instagram story with a comic book called ‘Power Man and Iron Fist’ in his travel bag. This comic book is special because it’s about Iron Fist and another superhero, Luke Cage. But that’s not all. The comic wasn’t just lying around; it was in a display case, which means Jones might not be planning to read it but to show it off as a hint.

Fans are putting the pieces together and thinking, ‘Is Iron Fist coming back?’ Especially since Marvel made all the Netflix superhero shows part of the MCU story. That means Iron Fist may get another chance or maybe even join other superheroes in new projects.

What Really Happened to Iron Fist?

Jones played Iron Fist in two seasons of ‘Iron Fist’ and also appeared in ‘The Defenders’ and ‘Luke Cage.’ The shows were canceled, and fans thought that meant the end of Iron Fist.

However, something exciting happened. Marvel started bringing characters from these Netflix shows into the MCU. For example, Daredevil and Kingpin are now officially part of the universe.

Jones previously said that he would love to play Iron Fist again. He believes there’s more to explore with his character and wants to prove to anyone who doubted him wrong:

“I would love to continue playing that character. I think there’s a lot of room for growth. Personally, where I would like to see the reintroduction of the character would be something like a ‘Heroes for Hire’ TV series. … I’d love to pick up that mantle again and keep moving this character forward and make the best possible Iron Fist there could be.”

There’s also talk about a possible show where Iron Fist and Luke Cage team up as ‘Heroes for Hire.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but Marvel has a history of surprising fans.
