Rumor: There Will Be 24/7 Channels On Disney+, Including One For Marvel

Disney+ is rumored to be launching 24/7 streaming channels, including ones for Marvel and Star Wars fans.

You might soon be able to watch Marvel or Star Wars all day, every day.

Reports suggest that Disney+ is planning to launch special channels that will stream shows and movies 24/7. They will focus on popular Disney brands like Marvel and Star Wars. These new Disney+ channels won’t be free, though. You’ll need a Disney+ subscription to watch them, unlike Pluto TV and Tubi.

These channels might still show some ads just like regular TV.

This is a Pretty Popular Trend

NBCUniversal’s Peacock and AMC’s Shudder offer channels that constantly play themed shows and movies. Amazon’s Freevee service also provides a mix of 24/7 channels through Prime Video.

They’re easy to tune into, and you don’t have to pick what to watch next. Bloomberg reported last week that more people watch these free channels with ads than some paid services like Peacock, Max, and Apple TV+.

You May Not Be Able To Share Your Disney+ Account

Disney+ is going to make it harder to share your account password with people who don’t live in your house. They’re planning to introduce some new rules this summer that will allow you to pay extra if you want to share your Disney+ or Hulu with others. This new rule is starting in just a few places in June, and they plan to include more areas by September.
