Zack Snyder Wants To Expand ‘Rebel Moon’ To At Least 6 Movies

The series’ second movie ‘The Scargiver’ just launched, and Snyder is already discussing future ones.

Zack Snyder has big dreams for his ‘Rebel Moon.’

‘Rebel Moon’s second movie ‘The Scargiver’ launches on Netflix today, but Snyder is already thinking about the future. He recently spoke to RadioTimes.com and admitted he hopes to make at least six movies in the ‘Rebel Moon’ series:

“I guess four makes sense. Four or six movies, depending… I guess it’s whether or not every time we make one of these movies we make two, that’s the question. We were talking about it the other day and I was like, would an audience be disappointed if they only got one movie now from Rebel Moon? Would they be like, ‘Oh, it’s one now? Great.'”

So, it depends on how much fans like the current films and if Netflix continues to support the project.

He Has The Story All Set

Snyder also has a story ready for a third ‘Rebel Moon’ film if Netflix agrees:

“We absolutely have the story all set, we did all that work. We wrote a treatment for the movie so we’ll see how we go ahead.”

‘Rebel Moon’ started with ‘Part One: A Child of Fire.’ It did really well on Netflix after the release. Thanks to its success, fans now have a comic book, a book, and a video game along with the movies.

‘The Scargiver’ picks up the story with Kora and her friends fighting to save their home planet from a powerful enemy called the Realm. It stars Sofia Boutella as Kora, and Ed Skrein as Atticus Noble. Djimon Hounsou and Anthony Hopkins also play important roles.
