Jennifer Connelly Opens Doors For MCU Debut To Join Paul Bettany

She openly said she would love to be part of Marvel’s projects.

Jennifer Connelly seems pretty interested in entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe to join her husband.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Connelly recently said that she would ‘absolutely’ love to be a part of Marvel’s superhero films:

“I think that they make great films and my husband [Bettany, who plays Vision in the MCU] has had such a fantastic time working with all of them, and they have such a great group of actors working with them. I would absolutely do it.”

Connelly was recently in ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’ She also plays a villain in ‘Snowpiercer.’ The show is coming out with its fourth season this year.

Connelly Has a Small Connection To MCU

Connelly was the voice of ‘Karen’ in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming.’ This was a behind-the-scenes role where she didn’t appear on screen. Her character is an AI assistant who helps Spider-Man (Tom Holland) by giving him advice and information through his suit.

The actress also appeared in 2003’s ‘Hulk,’ but this wasn’t a well-received movie.

Connelly is currently starring in ‘Dark Matter.’ It’s a new show on Apple TV+ that blends science fiction, drama, and thrills. The show features her and Joel Edgerton, who once auditioned for the Star-Lord role in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.’

‘Hulk’ is available to watch on Netflix. You can also check out ‘Dark Matter’ on Apple TV+.
