During Disney’s Upfront 2024 event, Marvel Studios shared a secret first trailer for ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ and it promises intense action and drama.
The trailer hasn’t been released to the public yet, but IGN reports that it shows Charlie Cox in his famous red Daredevil suit, saying:
“The entire system is against you… it’s often David vs. Goliath.”
The trailer also gives a glimpse of other returning characters like Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, as well as Foggy Nelson and Karen Page. After a short action scene towards the end, Murdock is asked:
“What kind of a lawyer are you?”
Adjusting his broken glasses, he confidently replies:
“A really good one.”
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ finally has a release date as well. It’s set to hit screens in March 2025.
It Will Be More Violent Than Ever
As per The Wrap, the trailer confirms that ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will have ‘bloody action sequences.’ Sadly, the first season will have only nine episodes instead of 18.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ was first announced in May 2022. It was originally set to premiere in 2024 but got delayed due to Hollywood strikes and a creative reboot last October. New showrunner Dario Scardapane (from Netflix’s ‘The Punisher’) was brought in, and directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead from ‘Loki’ Season 2 were also hired.
Other Marvel series coming to Disney+ include ‘Agatha All Along’ in September 2024 and ‘Ironheart’ in 2025. Charlie Cox will voice Daredevil in the upcoming series ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.’
