Jared Padalecki has shared some sad news with ‘Walker’ fans.
A couple of days ago, Padalecki announced that the CW decided to end ‘Walker’ after four seasons. He shared his feelings on Instagram, saying:
“Howdy, y’all. It is with a heavy heart that I share this news with you. Walker will not be airing on CW for a fifth season. It’s a tough piece of news to be sure, but we are SO thankful for the Walker Family that has been built, both on set and off. After four seasons together, we have felt the love and support from the entire Walker Family, and we will be forever grateful.”
He also thanked the cast, crew, studio, and network, saying he will always cherish the years he spent working on ‘Walker.’ He ended his message with, ‘Til we ride again.’
CW Thanked Padalecki For His Efforts
The CW released a statement thanking the entire cast and crew for their hard work over the past four seasons. They also thanked Padalecki for being with The CW and playing a key role in some of their biggest hits:
“We want to thank the entire cast, crew, writers, directors, and producers of ‘Walker’ for their hard work and dedication over four incredible seasons. We also want to give a special thanks to star and executive producer Jared Padalecki, who has been a member of The CW family for over 20 years and was integral to some of the biggest hits on the network.”
‘Walker’ first debuted in 2021 as a reboot of ‘Walker, Texas Ranger.’ Padalecki played Cordell Walker in the show. ‘Walker’ also featured Molly Hagan, Keegan Allen, Violet Brinson, Kale Culley, Odette Annabelle, and Ashley Reyes. The fourth and final season started in April 2024. It has 13 episodes and will conclude on June 26, 2024.
