‘Beef’ Adds Two Hollywood A-Listers To Its Cast For Second Season

The show’s first season was a big hit — it won several major awards.

‘Beef’ is reportedly bringing two big stars to its cast for the second season.

As per Deadline, Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan are said to be in talks to join the show. This would reunite them after they starred together in ‘Drive’ and ‘Inside Llewyn Davis.’

It was rumored that Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, Cailee Spaeny, and Charles Melton may join the second season. Now, it seems like Isaac and Mulligan may take the roles that were first planned for Gyllenhaal and Hathaway.

The second season is supposed to focus on two couples who are fighting with each other. Netflix and A24 hope to start production by late summer or fall.
