Jennifer Aniston Slams J.D. Vance Over ‘Childless Cat Lady’ Comment

She was shocked that someone running for Vice President would say such things.

Jennifer Aniston recently spoke out against J.D. Vance, who is running for Vice President with Donald Trump.

Aniston is upset about comments Vance made in 2021. The actress rarely makes political statements, but she felt the need to respond this time.

On her Instagram Story, Aniston said she’s in disbelief that someone running for Vice President can call some women ‘childless cat ladies.’ She also shared a clip of Vance’s interview with conservative media personality Tucker Carlson. He made these comments during this interview.

Aniston pointed out that Vance and his wife have a daughter. She said she hopes their daughter can have children one day and won’t need to use IVF (in vitro fertilization):

“All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.”

Vance Named A Few Examples

In the interview, Vance said that America is being run by unhappy ‘childless cat ladies’ who want to make everyone else unhappy too. He gave Vice President Kamala Harris, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Pete Buttigieg as examples.

Whoopi Goldberg also criticized Vance on ‘The View.’ She said some people can’t have children or choose not to, and Vance shouldn’t judge them. Goldberg pointed out that Vance himself never had a baby, so he doesn’t understand what it’s like.

Vance is running for Vice President in the upcoming election with Donald Trump. Vance is also known for writing the book ‘Hillbilly Elegy.’ Entertainment Weekly reached out to Vance and Trump’s representatives for comments, but they didn’t respond yet.
