Hugh Jackman Shares A Video For Fans: ‘See You In 2058’

The video includes a reference to his latest movie with Deadpool.

Hugh Jackman recently surprised his fans with a video on Instagram.

In the short clip, Jackman is seen wearing a TVA jacket. The voice of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is repeating the phrase ‘Til you’re ninety’ through the video. The clip ends with Madonna’s famous song ‘Like a Prayer’ playing, and Jackman’s caption and the video itself both promise to ‘see you in 2058.’

This playful video got fans talking, especially because 2058 is the year when Jackman, who is now 55 years old, will turn 90. It might seem unlikely, but it’s entirely possible that Jackman and Reynolds could’ve recorded a short joke to be released in 2058 in true Deadpool style.

‘Like a Prayer’ is used in one of the most memorable scenes in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ According to Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy, Madonna herself had to approve the use of the song, and she even offered a suggestion on how it could be used better.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ hit theaters on July 26, 2024. The movie was produced by Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, and Lauren Shuler Donner. It was written by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and Shawn Levy.

The idea of seeing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine again in 2058 might seem far-fetched, but we will just have to wait and see what happens in the future.
