Former X-Men ’97 Showrunner Promises To Reveal Truth On Marvel If You Subscribe To His OnlyFans

The writer says OnlyFans is the platform where he will share the ‘whole truth’ about his departure from Marvel.

Marvel fired DeMayo from his position as head writer of ‘X-Men ’97’ for then-unknown reasons earlier this year. The company later released a statement saying the firing was due to the ‘egregious nature of the findings’ of an ‘internal investigation.’

Since then, rumors said that DeMayo was let go for sending inappropriate photos to staff members. There have also been reports alleging he was physically and sexually inappropriate with several of his colleagues.

The writer denied these accusations and said homophobia was behind his firing, though. He even claimed that his name was removed from the animated show’s Season 2 credits after posting fan art of himself dressed in a revealing Cyclops costume for Pride Month.

Most recently, DeMayo directed fans to his OnlyFans profile, which charges $9.99 a month for subscription, to learn what he calls the ‘whole truth’ about behind the scenes.

The ‘X-Men ’97’ showrunner previously accused Marvel and Disney of spreading false information online as part of a ‘smear campaign’ to silence him about the ‘truth.’

“They wanted me to be the Black stamp of approval on this project, I declined,” he shared on OnlyFans last week. “They wanted to erase aspects of my personality that clashed or proved inconvenient with the misguided narratives they wanted to establish. I declined. They tried to intimidate me with both explicit and implied threats. I was not intimidated. Everything they have done since then has been designed not just to silence me and smear me, but to crush me and to remind me to know my role.”

Marvel Animations hired Matthew Chauncey in July as the new head writer for the rebooted animation’s Season 3. Chauncey will work with the original ‘X-Men: The Animated Series’ showrunners, Eric Lewald, and Julia Lewald, as well as director Jake Castorena.
