‘Emily In Paris’ Is Back For Season 5, Netflix Confirms

The show will move to Rome, where Emily’s personal and professional life will take new turns.

Netflix has officially confirmed that ‘Emily in Paris’ will return for a fifth season.

The announcement came on September 16, along with new images teasing what we can expect from the upcoming episodes. One of the teasers shows Emily sipping from a small cup with the number ‘5’ at the bottom and text that says, ‘There’s no place like Rome.’ These imply that the show is moving to a new location for the next season.

In the last part of season 4, Emily (Lily Collins) was getting closer to Marcello Muratori (Eugenio Franceschini). It looked like she might be heading back to the Italian city by the end of the season as Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) made a deal with Marcello’s family to open an office in Italy for six months.

So, it’s likely that Emily’s personal and professional life will bring her back to Rome in season 5.

There may still be unresolved feelings between Emily and her former love interest Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). Gabriel could follow Emily to Rome, but his own opportunities in Paris may keep him there.

Netflix hasn’t announced a production start date or a release date for ‘Emily in Paris’ season 5.
