Some new updates about the last Conjuring movie just arrived.
As per Deadline, Ben Hardy and Mia Tomlinson joined the cast. Ben Hardy is known for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ and ‘Love at First Sight,’ and Mia Tomlinson starred in ‘The Beast Must Die.’ There aren’t any details about the characters they will play, and the plot for this final film is being kept secret.
Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson starred in the previous ‘Conjuring’ movies as real-life paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren, and they will both return. This last movie will likely be inspired by one of their famous cases. But nothing specific was shared.
James Wan is working on ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ as a producer and helped develop the story, but he won’t be directing this time. The director will be Michael Chaves, who directed ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It,’ ‘The Curse of La Llorona,’ and ‘The Nun II.’
Warner Bros. confirmed that this will be the last movie in the main ‘Conjuring’ series. The future of the franchise’s spinoffs like ‘The Nun’ and ‘Annabelle’ films hasn’t been decided yet.
‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ is set to hit theaters on September 5, 2025.
