Mace Windu Rumored To Return: Samuel L. Jackson Says He’s Not Dead Yet

Samuel L. Jackson is willing to return as Windu.

Samuel L. Jackson, known in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was also introduced as the purple lightsaber-wielding Jedi Master Mace Windu in ‘Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’, the first of George Lucas’s ‘Star Wars prequels. Though Windu was ultimately killed off, fans believe he may have survived. Jackson himself has frequently suggested that Windu is still alive.

Now, scooper MTTSH is claiming that Jackson is officially in talks to return to the ‘Star Wars universe for a mysterious project. In an interview with Empire celebrating the 25th anniversary of the ‘Star Wars’ prequels, Samuel L. Jackson had advocated for the return of Mace Windu, the Jedi Master he portrayed in the ‘Star Wars’ prequel trilogy.

Most recently, the actor told Empire emphatically that Mace is “not dead,”expressing his strong willingness to return to the ‘Galaxy far, far away’ for a new movie or Disney+ series.

“It’s like, okay, Obi-Wan was dead when episode four started, so maybe everyone thinks I’m dead and we’ll find out what happened to Mace Windu,” he said in a previous interview. “I can come back as one-armed or a one-handed Jedi that’s still around that didn’t actually die.”

“I could be a ghost hologram,” he added. “I don’t care, I just want to stay associated with the franchise. Not that I won’t because I’ve been in three of them.”

There is no confirmed information yet, only rumors.
