‘Oppenheimer’ Actress Emma Dumont has come out as trans-male and non-binary. Dumont will use they/them pronouns and will continue to go by Emma in their professional life, while using Nick in their personal life
Dumont, best known for playing Jackie Oppenheimer in the 2023 Oscar-winning biopic ‘Oppenheimer’ and Lorna Dane/Polaris in the comic book series ‘The Gifted,’ announced their identity this week. According to their representatives, Dumont will go by they/them pronouns instead of she/her.
“They identify as a trans masculine non-binary person. Their work name is still going to be Emma Dumont, but they will go by Nick with friends and family,” the rep TMZ.
Dumont’s Instagram bio now reflects their new pronouns and name, Nick. However, Dumont’s representative confirmed that Dumont will continue to use the professional name Emma Dumont in their career..
