American actor and singer-songwriter Jared Leto took to Instagram and paid tribute to the movie, ‘Requiem For a Dream’ which he took part as the leading actor.
American psychological drama film, ‘Requiem For a Dream’ directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, and Jennifer Connelly. The film was praised by a good number of critics and it was listed in the American Film Institute list of AFI’s “100 Years 100 Movies.”
Leto, who received Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award in the same year, posted a photo of the character ‘Harry Goldfarb’ that he represented in the mentioned movie, and captioned it as follows:
“Requiem 🖤 Seen it? This experience changed my life.”
Concerning the film that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, he continued:
“Hard to put it into words but I will forever be grateful for the poetry of Hubert Selby and the genius of my good friend @darrenaronofsky.”
Then, the ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ actor shared a story he had experienced during the set of the mentioned film:
“I remember this exact moment like it was yesterday. Darren and Matty and I all crammed into a taxi and stole this shot as a pick up at the very end of shooting. I had started to gain weight again and was feeling excited about wrapping up when Darren called and said I need you to have an emotional breakdown in the back of a car. 😅😅 Incredible how time flies. Let’s enjoy it while we can. 🌅🌅🌅”
