The recipient of multiple awards including BAFTA, César Awards, Ian Charleson Award, and Critics’ Circle Theatre Award, English actor Jude Law is now a father of six.
The BAFTA Award-winning actor revealed that he and his wife, Phillippa Coan welcomed their first child together, during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show.’
When he was asked what he was doing up amid quarantine, he answered as follows and gave the happy news:
“I’ve been gardening. Oh! And on top of that, I had a baby. So there you go.”
Then the actor said that having a baby was really wonderful and added that he and his wife felt blessed that they could just nest as a family.
Law, who has five children with three previous partners, previously stated to Daily Mail that he would absolutely be open to having more kids:
“I love it, so absolutely why not? I’m very lucky to be involved with someone I’m madly in love with. The idea of having more children would be just wonderful. I’m fortunate to be with someone where I’m having more fun than I’ve ever had in my life.”
Then the actor, portraying ‘Dr. Watson’ in the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ film series, continued:
“We have an incredibly stable and healthy, wonderful family existence and that involves my kids who are young adults… and then the younger ones are just so much joy and so much fun.”
As remember, the couple were married in 2019.
