Adam Sandler, one of the most-known comedians worldwide, did not skip pay tribute to his fellow Conan O’Brien shortly after his TBS show ‘Conan‘ had said farewell to the screen.
Sandler, who last appeared in the Netflix film ‘Hubie Halloween‘ as the titular character, took to his verified Instagram account, which he uses just paying tributes and praising friends, and released a TBT photo showing him as a guest on Conan O’Brien’s late-night show.
Alongside the photo, captured more than 20 years ago, Sandler wrote the following message so as to told the world that Conan is the best in the industry. In his own words:
“Love you Conan. Fastest funniest nicest guy of us all. I love you very much, my man. And your whole family. From the beginning, I looked forward to talking to you on your show and hanging with your gang of greats. Always made it welcoming and fun. And I knew when I couldn’t think of anything funny to say out there, you’d think of something for me. To the rescue every time.”
As many other celebs did, Sandler praised Conan’s personality in addition to his unique sense of humor; he concluded:
“A great man and friend for life. Loved watching your show whenever I could and now will love watching you over your fence. Congrats on keeping us all happy this many years. The best. Love you pal.”
Following Sandler’s post, actor Rob Schneider, best known for his comedic roles in various Hollywood features, jumped into the comments section and left the following message:
“I will always remember all the fun times on your show! Biting your ankles during one segment is a memory I will hold dear!”
As fans might know, Conan will start a new show on HBO Max.
