‘Agatha Will Bring Fun To Halloween,’ Says Marvel Boss

Marvel’s ‘Agatha’ is set to mix Halloween fun with scary and dramatic moments.

Marvel’s new show ‘Agatha’ will mix fun and scary moments, according to Marvel Studios’ Brad Winderbaum.

During a talk on the ‘Official Marvel Podcast,’ Winderbaum said the show will start off with the fun of Halloween but will soon get really scary and dramatic:

“‘Agatha’ is really fun, but it’s really scary. And it gets quite dramatic. She’s an amazing anti-hero. It lures you in with the fun of Halloween, and before you know it, you’re crying.”

Kathryn Hahn returns as Agatha Harkness in this ‘WandaVision’ spinoff. Winderbaum shared that the show will have ‘deadly stakes’ and will be a ‘dangerous’ ride for viewers.

He Also Has News About ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

Winderbaum also gave a brief update on another Marvel show, ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ He said the characters in the show, including Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, have changed and matured:

“These characters have matured. The universe is different than it was. Things have changed. Society has changed. Matt and Wilson have changed, and their characters are going to collide in ways we’ve never seen before. It’s no longer enough to try to murder each other. There’s a whole game of politics at play.”

‘Agatha All Along’ will premiere on Disney+ on September 18. The plot details are still a secret, but we know it picks up after ‘WandaVision,’ where Agatha was left powerless by Scarlet Witch. Alongside Hahn, the cast includes Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, and Debra Jo Rupp. The showrunner for ‘Agatha’ is Jac Schaeffer, who also worked on ‘WandaVision.’
