Ahmed Best Shares Cryptic Message On His ‘Star Wars’ Return: Is Darth Jar Jar Becoming A Reality?

The actor has sparked curiosity among fans with a tease about returning to the iconic space saga as Jar Jar Binks.

Recently seen in ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 as Kelleran Beq, a character who survived the infamous Order 66, Ahmed Best now hints at diving back into the ‘Star Wars’ universe. He stirred the pot with an Instagram post showing him in a motion capture suit, suggesting his involvement in a future ‘Star Wars’ project, possibly a TV show, movie, or video game.

The caption of his post read:

“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.”

In this caption, Best playfully nodded to the Darth Jar Jar theory with hashtags like ‘#jarjarbinks’ and ‘#sithlord.’ This theory, which suggests Jar Jar is a secret Sith Lord, has been a topic of debate among fans for years.

What Is The New Project?

Other tags in the actor’s post, such as ‘#kelleranbeq’ and ‘#activision,’ gave clues about what this new project might involve. These hints suggested a connection to the gaming world, with Activision possibly at the helm.

The company, known for releasing fan-favorite ‘Star Wars’ games in the past, is not currently known to be developing any new ‘Star Wars’ titles. This makes Best’s mention of Activision intriguing, especially as the exclusive game development deal with EA Games is set to expire soon.

If the game is set in the same era as ‘Jedi: Fallen Order’ and ‘Jedi: Survivor,’ it’s likely that Kelleran Beq could make an appearance. This character, who dedicates himself to teaching young Jedi, could offer a storyline in a universe where the Jedi are nearly wiped out, focusing on protecting Force-sensitive children from the Empire.
