Jerry Bruckheimer worked with Alan Ritchson on ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,’ and he now believes that Ritchson has what it takes to be an amazing action star.
Bruckheimer recently told CBR that Ritchson’s future success will depend on the roles he chooses to take. He spoke highly of the actor:
“He’s enormously talented. He brings fun to it. He’s a really dedicated actor, worked very hard. Smart on top of it. So, it’s all about choices for an actor.”
Bruckheimer says becoming a big movie star isn’t just about how good someone is. It’s also about choosing the right roles:
“If you make the right choices, you become a big action star, or a big movie star. If you make the wrong choices, you don’t. We’ve seen so many actors who have gone on to be phenomenal crowd-pleasers, and you’ve seen actors who’ve faded away.”
