Well-known actor Alec Baldwin released a piece of great news for the fans of ‘The Boss Baby.’ The actor, who voices the lead character ‘Theodore “Ted” Templeton’ in the 3D computer-animated comedy film told the world that the sequel to the 2017 film, titled ‘The Boss Baby: Family Business‘ is coming soon. Balwin delivered the news with a caption that reads:
“IG NEWS! Very excited to announce that we’re expecting a new addition to the DreamWorks family. Look out for the new #BossBaby trailer this Tuesday.”
Meanwhile, the same message was released through the official Dreamworks Animation Twitter account. What’s more, the screenwriter, Michael McCullers said in a statement regarding the ‘Boss Baby’ franchise, which is based book of the same name by Marla Frazee:
“We’re just trying to tell the best story with the characters. It’s in no way meant to be a twist or for a sequel. The producers just had a little fun at the end.”
In the upcoming film, the Templeton brothers will unite to discover the meaning of the family.
The direct sequel, produced by DreamWorks Animation, is starring James Marsden, Amy Sedaris, Ariana Greenblatt, Eva Longoria, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, and Jeff Goldblum. According to the announcement by Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation on May 25, 2017, ‘The Boss Baby: Family Business’ will be theatrically released on March 26, 2021.
