‘San Andreas’ star Alexandra Daddario took to her verified Instagram account on December 7 in order to pay tribute to her four-legged friend, Levon, who passed away a few days ago.
Daddario included a variety of pictures and videos of Levon and wrote a lengthy caption to tell about how much she is devastated because of his passing. The actor began by saying that she really loved and love Levon then revealed that he had been accompanying her and her family for more than 7 years. She continued:
“He loved me and I loved him and we were a little team and I am completely heartbroken over losing him.”
Thanking the people in her life, who helped and supported her while Levon’s medical condition was going worse, she also showed her gratitude for Levon’s vets who tried so hard “to save his life and risking their lives during the pandemic to help” pets. Then the ‘Percy Jackson‘ star encouraged her followers to donate to a rescue group or a local dog hospital, even though the world is in a complete mess.
Later the actor highlighted the importance of adopting pets, and said that she had adopted Levon and he “brought so much joy into” her life. At the end of her caption, she also revealed that Levon passed away due to leptospirosis, by urging dog owners to get their pets vaccinated for the disease.
“It is horrible and unforgiving and I don’t want anyone to suffer what we and Levon just went through. I had never heard of it and didn’t even know there was a vaccine, so please, especially if you’re in NYC, go get your dog vaccinated.”
As fans might remember, a few days ago the actor posted a photo of Levon and asked her fans and followers to pray for him.
