Dancer Amanda Kloots took to her Instagram on Christmas Eve to recall the one and the only Christmas she was with her child, Elvis, and her husband Nick Cordero, who passed away in 2020.
Kloots posted a pair of photos that sees her standing alongside her husband while holding her baby, and she described those moments as her favorite Christmas. The grieved wife began her Instagram caption as follows:
“Merry Christmas everyone ❤️ I know this Christmas looks different for a lot of us. It has been a year filled with loss in many ways. I have found that focusing on what I do have as helped me tremendously.”
Stating she starts the day with a positive thought to cope with the negatives and goes to bed counting her blessing, the dancer also admitted that behaving in this way is not always easy, especially after experiencing a devastating loss. She continued:
“Gratitude breeds optimism. I would say too, don’t wish time away. Time is precious, even when it’s hard.”
Then the wife of the ‘Bullets Over Broadway‘ star clarified the family photos she had shared by saying:
“I love this picture of my family last Christmas. It was undoubtedly my favorite Christmas I can remember. Elvis was just six months old, our little Christmas gift from God. We were so excited to be together for the holidays.”
Following the post, well-known names jumped into the comment section to wish a merry Christmas to Kloots and her little son, Elvis.
“Thinking of you and sending you so much love ❤️” wrote, actor Ashley Tisdale.
“Love you sm 💖💖💖” added, Olivia Munn.
“Merry Christmas to you and Elvis ❤️🙏🎄” commented, ‘Real Housewife of Beverly Hills’ star Kyle Richards Umansky.
As known, Kloots and Cordero married in 2017 in a formal ceremony, and they welcomed their first baby together in 2019. However, after months, Cordero died tragically of COVID-19 related complications on July 5, 2020, in California. He was just 41.
