Amazon Prime Video recently released the official trailer for its upcoming series ‘Fallout.’
The trailer offers fans a look into the life of vault dweller Lucy, portrayed by Ella Purnell, as she tries to stay alive in the Fallout world. Alongside Purnell, the series features Walton Goggins and Aaron Moten. Among other scenes, Goggins’s portrayal of a drug-addicted cowboy Ghoul already sparked interest and approval among fans.
Fan reactions to the trailer have been overwhelmingly positive, as many praised the series’ faithful representation of the game’s atmosphere. As seen in CinemaBlend’s review, some fans already want to binge-watch the entire season upon its release. Apparently, the series set high expectations, even with its trailer.
Everything We Know About ‘Fallout’
Developed by Kilter Films in partnership with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, ‘Fallout‘ is an adaptation of the video game series. The series has a creative team led by executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Bethesda Game Studios producer Todd Howard.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as co-creators, executive producers, writers, and co-showrunners to ensure a faithful adaptation of the game into the television format.
Set in ‘Filly,’ a post-apocalyptic Santa Monica, California, in the year 2296, ‘Fallout’ explores uncharted territories within the game. Key factions from the Fallout universe, such as Raiders, the Brotherhood of Steel, and potentially the Enclave, will be introduced as well.
With all eight episodes slated for release on April 11, ‘Fallout’ will be available in more than 240 countries and territories.
