One of the most known comedians, Amy Schumer is getting back to her stand-up career with open-air shows.
On April 5, the ‘Expecting Amy‘ star updated her Instagram feed with a highly special photo captured during performing a show months after. Via the photo, the five-time Emmy Award-nominated star showed off that her splendent career is going on in a bike lane in Queens.
Alongside the photo that sees her holding a microphone, in a jean skirt and sneakers, Schumer wrote:
“My first standup set back. I opened for @missingelementshow in a bike lane in Queens.”
The star, who was not able to laugh with audiences on the live shows due to the coronavirus pandemic, as the rest of the world were, heralded that she performed at Comedy Cellar a few days ago, and continued:
“I performed at @comedycellarusa Friday and it felt so good. I like my outfit here @lalignenyc pic by @vnina”
As fans might know, Schumer has a great long career in the show business; following graduating from Towson University, Schumer first appeared in the Off-Off-Broadway black comedy ‘Keeping Abreast’ in 2003. After a year, she began her stand-up comedy shows at Gotham Comedy Club. In 2007, the mother-of-one started appearing in Comedy Central shows and rose to fame.
