Armando Aretas Is Back: Jacob Scipio Joins ‘Bad Boys 4’ Cast With Will Smith And Martin Lawrence

The actor first appeared in the film series as a part of 2020’s ‘Bad Boys For Life.’

Jacob Scipio, who last worked in ‘The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent’ with Pedro Pascal and Nicolas Cage, is coming back to the ‘Bad Boys’ world as the estranged son of Will Smith’s Mike Lowery.

The plot details for the upcoming movie remain closely guarded, except for the cast that includes a blend of returning and new faces.

Alongside Scipio, actors such as Paola Núnez, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, and Eric Dane from ‘Euphoria’ are set to make an appearance.

The New Film’s Production Details

Looking back, the ‘Bad Boys’ franchise has been a significant player in the action genre. The first two films pulled in impressive box office numbers, and ‘Bad Boys For Life’ added to the franchise’s success, earning over $426.5 million globally.

Fans can mark their calendars for June 7, the release date for the new film. Directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are back in the director’s chairs, working off a script by Chris Bremner.

The production team behind the scenes includes familiar names such as Jerry Bruckheimer and Will Smith, through his Westbrook banner, as well as Doug Belgrad. They’re joined by executive producers Martin Lawrence, James Lassiter, Chad Oman, Mike Stenson, Barry Waldman, and Jon Mone.
