Hollywood actor, singer, director, and writer Josh Radnor is going on showing his support for independent films & directors.
The other day, Radnor, best remembered for his portrayal of ‘Ted Mosby‘ on the legendary sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ used his Instagram platform both to remember his experience of Sundance Film Festival as a writer and director and to introduce Carlson Young‘s highly-expected film ‘The Blazing World.’
The filmmaker, who won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for his 2010 dated drama film ‘Happythankyoumoreplease‘ released a scene from ‘The Blazing World,’ and added a lengthy caption alongside it. Radnor began his message by saying that it was a thrill to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival:
“Having the two films I wrote and directed premiere at The #Sundance Film Festival was such a thrill. Really excited for all those who have films premiering at the festival this year (which kicks off TODAY!)”
Then the Tony Award-nominated star stated that he wanted to support this year’s directors and introduce his fans & followers to Young’s film.
According to Young’s own statement, the film is centered on a young woman who on the verge of suicide and gets a chance to enter a dark world she created. Starring Dermot Mulroney, Vinessa Shaw, Udo Kier, John Karna and Carlson Young, the horror-fantasy-thriller will be released on January 31.
