Filming for Marvel’s ‘Agatha All Along’ and Francis Ford Coppola’s ‘Megalopolis’ overlapped for two weeks in Atlanta. Aubrey Plaza used this time to play pranks on her co-stars, Adam Driver and Giancarlo Esposito, in her MCU costume.
Plaza plays Wow Platinum in the new science fiction film and a warrior witch named Rio Vidal in the upcoming Disney+ miniseries. She recalls in a recent chat with Deadline:
“I would literally go from one to the other and would put my Wow wig on and my Wow costume on. And then the next day, I would go to the Agatha set and I’d be dressed as a warrior witch with a dagger and stuff. At one point, when I was dressed in the Marvel character, I sneaked onto the Megalopolis set and I started harassing Giancarlo Esposito and Adam, [Driver] and everyone. It was absolutely insane behavior.”
Rio Vidal is a Green Witch and one of Miss Harkness’ (Kathryn Hahn) exes. The following is the first look at the character from last year’s behind-the-scenes video:

Agatha Will Return After Scarlet Witch’s Fall
Disney+ will start streaming ‘Agatha All Along’ on September 18, 2024. A recently released synopsis for the script by Jac Schaeffer reads:
“In the first episode, we see Agatha finally break out of a spell she has been trapped in. She can’t wait to go back to her old murderous ways only to find that she is powerless. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous quest to get her powers back with the help of an unlikely friend or two.”
Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch had trapped Agatha Harkness in Westview in her ‘nosy neighbor Agnes’ persona after a battle in ‘WandaVision.’ Olsen will not likely appear in the new show, but rumors say she’ll have something to do with Agatha’s release following ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’
The upcoming nine episodes will also feature Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Emma Caulfield Ford, Debra Jo Rupp, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, Kate Forbes, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, and Maria Dizzia.
