Avatar: The Last Airbender Movie Official Cast And Release Date Revealed

The first-ever ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ film is now in the works.

A new animated ‘The Last Airbender’ movie will come out on October 10th, 2025. Paramount Pictures recently announced its cast at CinemaCon.

Dante Basco will lend his voice again to Zuko, and he is the only original actor returning for the film. K-Pop idol Eric Nam will join him as Aang. This will be Nam’s debut as a voice actor.

The Cast Will Be Diverse

Jessica Batten is cast to voice Katara. The Canadian actress has an indigenous background and even modeled for the First Nations.

Meanwhile, Dionne Quan will play Toph in the first of three standalones. Quan was born with optic nerve hypoplasia and is legally blind like the Earthbender.

The upcoming film will also feature Dave Bautista as the story’s main villain.

Some Of The Original Crew Will Come Back

The ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ movie will be directed by Lauren Montgomery and William Mata. Montgomery previously storyboarded several episodes of the original TV show.

The production will be a collaboration between Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon. The animated series’ creators, Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, will return as executive producers.
