Bambi Loses Innocence In The New Poohniverse Film

Bambi is not the cute deer we all know anymore.

Bambi is getting a whole new look in ‘Bambi: The Reckoning.’

According to the recently released teaser, Bambi isn’t the gentle deer we remember anymore. Instead, he is turning into a villain.

‘Bambi: The Reckoning’s new teaser is out, and it’s only a minute long but full of suspense. It shows two men hunting in the woods, and then Bambi comes along and attacks a car with its antlers. The movie will follow a mom named Xana and her son Benji. The two end up in the car wreck and then are chased by Bambi.

The movie is directed by Dan Allen and stars Roxanne McKee and Tom Mulheron. It’s based on the original Bambi story from the 1923 book. Disney later turned this book into the classic movie we know.

You can watch the teaser below.

What’s the Poohniverse?

Bambi is part of a bigger movie world called the Poohniverse. It also includes a twisted version of Winnie the Pooh and other characters from our childhood stories.

The Poohniverse is this big movie project that includes Winnie the Pooh, Bambi, Tinkerbell, Pinocchio, and Peter Pan, but as horror movie stars. The filmmakers behind the first ‘Winnie the Pooh’ movie are making all this happen.

They’ve got other big plans as well — like a crossover event with all these characters called ‘Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.’ It is set to come out in 2025.

Bambi and the others will get their own film before the big team-up movie. ‘Bambi: The Reckoning’ will be followed by ‘Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare’ and ‘Pinocchio Unstrung.’

‘Bambi: The Reckoning’ is supposed to hit theaters later this year, in late 2024.
