Bellamy Young Says She Is Hoping That ‘Prodigal Son’ Will Be Renewed For Season 3: “I’m Gonna Miss”

Bellamy Young, the recipient of the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in the fan-favorite crime series ‘Scandal,’ fired up her verified social media account both to announce that the filming for ‘Prodigal Son‘ wrapped up and to declare that she really hopes that Fox Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television would renew the series for season 3.

On Twitter, Young, who recently released a highly emotional tribute to her mother on her 51st “adoption birthday,” posted a photo of herself with her beloved dog, and added a note announcing the second season filming for the series came to an end:

“It’s my last day on set for S2 of Prodigal Son

Then the star added a frowning face emoji at the end of the sentence and implied that she is not okay with getting back home. Young continued her message by expressing that she is waiting for the good news regarding the new season:

“Hoping we get good news for S3 soon. I’m gonna miss this family of folks so much.”

The actor, who is portraying a successful businesswoman who is suffering from some alcohol problem named ‘Jessica Whitly‘ in the series created by Chris Fedak and Sam Sklaver, concluded her words by writing that she will miss the cast and the crew till they are “ hopefully reunited.”

Via the post, the actor also answered the questions of the fans, concerning that whether season 3 would come or not; she clearly stated that she does not know at all.

As fans might remember, a few days ago, Young took to her verified Twitter account and wrote:

I just filmed today- something for the finale that is. Like, curl your toes crazy- get ready! Sorry, I miss our time tho. Can’t wait to share next week with you here properly. Be safe till then!”
