‘The Christmas Pig’ is a popular children’s story by Rowling, and it is going to be turned into a movie.
The project is just starting to be planned. As per Variety, they haven’t yet decided which company will make the film.
The Book is About a Boy Named Jack
‘The Christmas Pig’ came out in 2021. Rowling said she was inspired to write this book by her own son’s toy pigs.
It all begins when Jack’s stepsister accidentally throws out his favorite toy named Dur Pig on Christmas Eve. Jack then gets a new toy called Christmas Pig, but he still misses Dur Pig a lot. Christmas Pig comes up with a brave plan to help Jack: They will go to the Land of the Lost to find Dur Pig. The two meet various characters on the way, including Santa Claus himself!
Meanwhile, Warner is working on a new TV show based on the ‘Harry Potter’ books.
