One of the main characters on ‘Sesame Street,’ ‘Big Bird’ joined CNN to talk about racism, inequality, diversity, and the ongoing protests in the United States of America, within the town hall show named ‘Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism: A CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall for Kids and Families.’
The yellow anthropomorphic canary that was named a Living Legend by the United States Library of Congress in 2010, joined CNN commentator Van Jones and CNN anchor Erica Hill for talk.
The other ‘Sesame Street’ characters such as Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Rosita took place in the show, too.
As already known, the first ‘Sesame Street’ town hall was about the coronavirus pandemic and it was broadcasted in April to let children about Covid-19.
As for the second CNN hall town show about standing up to racism was air on Saturday, June 6, at 10 a.m. ET.
