‘Black Adam’s Pierce Brosnan Fined For Wandering Into A Restricted Area

‘Black Adam’ star Pierce Brosnan got into trouble for going into an area he wasn’t supposed to in Yellowstone.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Pierce Brosnan was recently fined for a mistake he made while visiting Yellowstone National Park.

Brosnan unintentionally hiked into a restricted thermal area of the park in November. He accepted his mistake and pleaded guilty in court. He was then ordered to donate $1,000 to Yellowstone Forever, a group that helps support the park.

The actor was also fined $500 besides the donation. The court dismissed a second minor offense related to breaking park rules.

Yellowstone National Park has strict rules to protect the visitors and the natural environment. The park warns that all visitors should stay on marked trails and boardwalks, especially in the thermal areas where the hot springs can be dangerously hot.

The Actor Apologized For His Mistake

Brosnan took to Instagram to apologize after the incident. He explained that his love and respect for nature led him to take a photograph in the park:

“As an environmentalist, I have the utmost respect for and love for our natural world. However, I made an impulsive mistake – one that I do not take lightly – when entering a thermal area covered in snow in Yellowstone National Park to take a photograph.

He then claimed that he didn’t see any signs to prevent him from entering the area:

“I did not see a ‘No Trespassing’ sign posted that warned of danger, nor did I hike in the immediate area. I deeply regret my transgression and offer my heartfelt apologies to all for trespassing in this sensitive area. Yellowstone and all our National Parks are to be cared for and preserved for all to enjoy.”

In the comments section of this post, some of Brosnan’s fans argued it was impossible for him not to see a sign, as they are everywhere. Others said they forgave the actor.
