‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 Receives Exciting Updates

One of the episodes will be a sequel to the hit ‘USS Callister’ from Season 4.

Netflix’s hit anthology series ‘Black Mirror’ is returning for a seventh season, and it’s bringing a star-studded cast along for the ride.

As per Deadline, the show is in production as of today, and the new season will possibly hit the streaming platform sometime next year.

The cast for Season 7 includes some big names. Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Paul Giamatti, Rashida Jones, Cristin Milioti, and Emma Corrin are just a few of the actors confirmed to appear in the upcoming episodes.

Other cast members include Milanka Brooks, Patsy Ferran, Lewis Gribben, Osy Ikhile, Siena Kelly, Billy Magnussen, Rosy McEwen, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Paul G. Raymond, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jimmi Simpson, and Harriet Walter. Most of these names won’t possibly share scenes as each episode features a different story.

One of the episodes in the new season will be a sequel to the fan-favorite ‘USS Callister,’ the Season 4 opener. The original episode starred Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, Jesse Plemons, and Michaela Coel, and it won four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Television Movie.

Season 7 will continue to deliver satirical stories exploring modern-day concerns about technology.
