Blake Lively Reveals One Of Her Insecurities After Giving Birth Calling All The Clothing Brands To Take Action

Wife of Ryan Reynolds and famous actress Blake Lively updated her Instagram feed to ask for better styles from clothing brands for the creation of outfits that appeal to women of all shapes, by sharing an unknown example about herself.

One of the power couples in Hollywood, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds embraced their third child, Betty, in 2019. As an actress known for her highly acclaimed style, Blake Lively confessed that she had a hard time finding outfits during the postnatal period on her Instagram story.

In the Instagram story, Gossip Girl alum shared a photo of herself attending a late-night show after giving birth. Under the photo, she penned down a note sharing her struggles to fit in clothes with her post-baby body. In her note, she revealed that she couldn’t fit into many clothes and felt very insecure with the following words:

“It doesn’t send a great message to women when their bodies don’t fit into what brands have to offer. It’s alienating and confusing. And I wish I felt as confident then as I do now, a year later looking back.”

Now, the mother-of-three realized that it was a mistake to think alienated and insecure about her body because it was a wonderful miracle with the following words:

“That body gave me a baby. And was producing that baby’s entire food supply. What a beautiful miracle. But instead of feeling proud, I felt insecure. Simply because I didn’t fit into clothes. How silly is that in retrospect.”

At the end of her note, she urged all the brands to challenge themselves to do better for all the women and help them feel not alone.
