The two times Grammy Award-winning actor and filmmaker Bradley Cooper spoke to actor and musician Anthony Ramos for Interview Magazine and opened up about caring for his 80-year-old mother, Gloria Campano during the age of COVID-19.
The ‘A Star is Born’ actor revealed that he lived with his elderly mother, and his three-year-old daughter, Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper, whom he shares with Irina Shayk, in the lockdown period.
“I’m with my daughter and my mother and my two dogs, and we have not left the house.”
Cooper told that he did not leave the house to protect his mother, who accompanied him to various red-carpet events, from contracting with the virus:
“My mother is going to be 80, and she has a colostomy bag, so I can’t let anybody in the house. And I can’t leave the house, because if she gets it, it’s over.”
The eight-times Academy Award-nominated star, who has been living with his mother for years after his father died of lung cancer, added:
“We live in a little townhouse, thankfully there’s a backyard. I’m running a one-man preschool. We get up, we do swim class in the bathtub.”
