Stars of American neo-Western crime drama television series, ‘Breaking Bad,’ Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul headed to social media to pay tribute to late Hollywood star Cloris Leachman whose death has been declared on January 27, 2021.
Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston, who portrayed ‘Walter White‘ in the said AMC series was quick to honor Leachman’s legacy; the same day, Craston posted a photo of himself with the Academy Award-winning actor and released a tribute by calling her a “legend.”
“Saddened tonight to hear of the passing of a legend…and a grandma. Cloris Leachman was Ida, Lou’s’ mom on Malcolm in the Middle. Jane and I adored her superb talent and fun spirit. She was a slice of sweet potato pie – check that, just sweet potato…sliding off your face during a Malcolm food fight!”
The ‘Seinfield’ actor concluded his message by saying that the ‘Young Frankenstein‘ star is already missed. As soon as the actor had shared the Instagram post, his ‘Breaking Bad‘ co-star Aaron Paul took to the comments section to say goodbye to the legend. Paul, who played ‘Jesse Pinkman‘ in the series created and produced by Vince Gilligan, shared the following message regarding Leachman:
“Always loved that brilliant powerhouse of a woman. Sad she is gone but so da*n happy to know her brilliance🖤”
On January 27, it was announced that ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show‘ had been passed away due to natural causes at the age of 94. The devastating news spread when her longtime manager Juliet Green stated the following message:
“It’s been my privilege to work with Cloris Leachman, one of the most fearless actresses of our time. There was no one like Cloris. With a single look she had the ability to break your heart or make you laugh ’til the tears ran down your face.”
