American actor, director, and producer Bryan Cranston, best known for his role ‘Walter White’ in the AMC’s ‘Breaking Bad’ spoke to Collider and stated that he is ready for reprising the role. Cranston, ‘The One and Only Ivan’ actor said during the interview:
“I would be in it if Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, who are co-executive producers on it, wanted me to be in it. I would do it in a second. But it hasn’t happened yet, I can tell you, and we’ll see. I don’t know.”
And the 64-year-old actor said the following words:
“There’s one more season to go, and we’ll see what happens.”
Cranston’s performance on ‘Breaking Bad’ is marked as one of the best in television history, and this role brought him numerous accolades & awards including Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award and Satellite Award.
The actor also said that he had received an invitation to direct an episode of ‘Better Call Saul,’ the prequel, spin-off of ‘Breaking Bad:’
“I have been asked to direct an episode every single season and it just didn’t work out because of a commitment to doing a play or doing a movie or something, so I wasn’t able to section out the times available. But I do love the show. I think it’s a fantastic show.”
