Caity Lotz, best known for starring in the fan-favorite series ‘Arrow‘ as ‘Sara Lance / The Canary / White Canary,’ declared through her verified Instagram account that filming for the highly-expected new season for superhero series ‘Legends of Tomorrow‘ came to an end.
Lotz, the co-founder of a women empowerment organization called SheThority, became sociable on May 8 and released a photo seeing her with the rest of the crew and cast including Arthur Darvill, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Nick Zano. Alongside the photo, the young actor, reprising her role as ‘Sara Lance / White Canary’ in the series, deliver the exciting news with the following message:
“And that’s a wrap on season 6! We laughed we cried some of us almost lost an eye, but we made it! I am so grateful to our cast and crew and all the talent and heart they bring to @cw_legendsoftomorrow.”
In her message, the 34-year-old star stated that shooting for ‘Legends of Tomorrow‘ season 6 has been a little challenging because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic; like the rest of the projects in production. She wrote:
“It has been a challenging season with COVID, losing Beezlee, and not being able to see friends and family for so long. At times it felt like a long dark path, but there was so much to learn in the darkness. If you find yourself there, trust that it has its teachings and it won’t last forever.”
Lotz reminded her fans and followers that they would be back on set for ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 7 by saying:
“To great growth, great love, and season 7.”
As fans might remember, back in February, it was officially declared that the series had been renewed for a seventh season by The CW.
