Cameron Diaz, who had welcomed her first child, Raddix, with husband Benji Madden in January made a highly interesting revelation. Diaz appeared on in a live stream interview for Gwynnie Paltrow‘s lifestyle brand, as a guest and she said during the interview:
“I would not have become a mother if it wasn’t for you.”
The former actress, who marked as one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, added by addressing her friend, Paltrow:
“You used to talk, I’d be like ‘I’m not having kids’ and you’re like ‘You are having kids, you’re getting married, you’re having children.’”
The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star continued:
“And I was like, ‘No, I’m not!’ and you’re like, ‘You have to do it, you have to!’ And I was like ‘I’m not gonna do it. You were just on me all the time. You were like: ‘You have to. You don’t understand. If you don’t do this you will be so sad that you didn’t do it.’ And so I credit you so much with the fact that you never let up on me.”
The mother of two, Paltrow answered back to her:
“I think I could see, and I knew what a natural mother you are. Some women aren’t but you, I was like ‘You’re born to do it.’”
Cameron responded to her by saying that she had been scared because she had had” no luck” on finding a proper partner. Paltrow said knowingly after that:
“Yeah, you had some real humdingers in there.”
