Actor Candace Cameron Bure took to Instagram the other day to express how much she missed portraying ‘D.J. Tanner-Fuller‘ on Netflix’s ‘Fuller House,’ which is the sequel to the television series ‘Full House.’
To reminisce the sitcom on its 1st year anniversary of the final, Bure included a variety of pictures and videos on Instagram, of the cast of the series hugging and crying on the last day on set. The actor also added a caption that reads:
“One year ago today, we said our final goodbyes to Fuller House. 5 amazing seasons filled with love, laughter and a few tears. I miss you all so much! #SheWolfPack #friendsforever #FullerHouse #family”
As widely known, the Netflix original series, created by Jeff Franklin, has been run from February 26, 2016, to June 2, 2020, for 5 seasons. Even though the first seasons could not receive high praises, the following seasons garnered mixed reviews; so, the series was renewed by Netflix until this year.
Following Candace’s post, the cast members including Andrea Laura, Bob Saget, and Marla Sokoloff left comments to express that they want to come together for next seasons:
“I have ALL the emotions today. 😭 I need a big hug like that from you again!” wrote, Andrea Laura Barber, playing ‘Kimmy Gibbler’ in the series.
“All good things must come to an end. ❤️❤️❤️” added, Bob Saget, portraying D.J. and Stephanie’s father, ‘Danny Tanner.’
“Miss you guys😭😭😭” said, Marla Sokoloff, who plays Stephanie’s best friend, ‘Gia Mahan‘ on the sitcom.
On the same day, Candace also shared a photo of a note written by Lori Loughlin, who is now serving a 2-month prison sentence due to her involvement in the college admissions scandal. The note of Loughlin, portraying ‘Aunt Becky‘ in the series, reads:
“Dearest Candace, Congratulations on a great run! Have a fabulous last week. I love you and miss you.“
