As reported by Deadline, Genneya Walton of ‘Candy Cane Lane’ has been announced to join the cast of Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series, ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’
Walton is set to play a young journalist in the series. As per Deadline, she will have connections to a character from the original ‘Daredevil.’
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is currently under production and is slated for a 2025 premiere on Disney+. After a temporary halt in mid-June due to a writers’ strike, the show underwent a creative overhaul. This reboot not only brings back Charlie Cox in his role as Matt Murdock but also sees Vincent D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal reprise their roles as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Punisher.
Dario Scardapane has taken over as the showrunner, replacing Matt Corman and Chris Ord. The cast also includes Margarita Levieva, Arty Froushan, Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, and Nikki M. James, alongside the return of Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye.
