Marvel Studios has just released the first trailer for ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ and it looks like there’s a lot of action and new characters to look forward to.
Sam Wilson is greeted by the U.S. president Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross (Harrison Ford) in the new trailer. The president wants Captain America to become a U.S. agent. The action quickly heats up as Sam stops an assassin at the White House.
The trailer ends with a glimpse of Red Hulk, who is the alter-ego of ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross in the Marvel comics. It’s not clear if the movie will follow the same story as the comics.

This is the Fourth Captain America Movie
It’s also the first one starring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, who was formerly known as the Falcon.
Mackie takes over from Chris Evans, who played Captain America in the previous three movies and the four ‘Avengers’ movies. Evans’ Steve Rogers goes back in time to live with Peggy Carter at the end of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ in 2019, and gives his shield to Sam Wilson. Sam promises to honor the Captain America role.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ will also feature some of Macki2s co-stars from ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,’ including Danny Ramirez as the new Falcon and Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley. Shira Haas will play the Israeli superhero Sabra, and Giancarlo Esposito will appear as a mysterious villain.
Harrison Ford takes over the ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross role from the late William Hurt. The movie also brings back Liv Tyler as Betty Ross and Tim Blake Nelson as the Leader, both from the ‘Incredible Hulk’ movie.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is set to hit theaters on February 12, 2025.
