‘Captain America: Brave New World’ has finished its reshoots. These were to improve action scenes, and there’s also a new crew member to be excited about.
The 2025 movie’s additional photography is finally done. Crew members shared the news online. They celebrated it as the last movie worked on by veteran first assistant director Michele Panelli-Venetis.
‘Creed III’ fight coordinator Mark R. Miscione worked on the reshoots for ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’ Giancarlo Esposito joined the movie in a mystery role, and the Serpent Society was reportedly scrapped.
Tim Blake Nelson’s Filming Experiences
Most of the cast, including ‘The Incredible Hulk’ star Tim Blake Nelson, took part in the reshoots. Last month, he talked about his return as The Leader:
“[I’m] very excited about it. I’m headed to Atlanta tomorrow to continue working on that. It’s been very exciting to bring back a character from 16 years ago and imagine how he has aged with me and how that has manifested. The Marvel team has come up with a really interesting explanation – revelation, I should say, as to what he’s been up to for 16 years and why.”
In a separate interview, Nelson also reflected on the filming process, explaining:
“I had a great time filming it. And [I] worked with the Marvel team and this wonderful makeup artist named David Atherton with whom I’ve collaborated on a dozen movies now. I think people are going to be pretty excited about what this guy looks like. And what he has to say and what he does,” he teased. “All power to the amazing team over there at Marvel.”
Marvel Trusts The Russo Brothers
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige brought back the Russo Brothers to help with the new ‘Captain America’ movie. Joe and Anthony Russo directed ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ In 2023, many Marvel movies didn’t do well at the box office.
Feige hopes the Russo Brothers can help turn things around. Some disappointing films were ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ ‘Secret Invasion,’ ‘The Marvels,’ and ‘Madame Web.’ Feige believes the Russo Brothers can help Marvel bounce back.
