Though smaller in scale compared to its sequel ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will likely be packed with familiar faces from the Multiverse. According to recent rumors from Daniel Richtman (via ComicBook), along with a well-known character played by Ana de Armas, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will make an appearance in the upcoming film.

There’s a chance that Daredevil’s role in ‘Doomsday’ will be brief, possibly to introduce a more significant part in ‘Secret Wars.’ His appearance might be similar to his short cameo in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ More details about his role will likely emerge after ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is released.

Robert Downey Jr. will be back on the big screen in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ this time playing Doctor Doom. The movie is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026, with ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ following on May 7, 2027.

The Russo brothers, known for their previous work on several Marvel films, are directing both ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ and reuniting with Chris Evans, who is allegedly making a return to the MCU, as well.

After retiring as Captain America in ‘Endgame,’ Evans made a come-back as Johnny Storm in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ this year while Anthony Mackie took over his role as the Avenger. Mackie’s first major appearance as Captain America will be in ‘Brave New World,’ set for release in February 2025.
